Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones did not report for training camp or any offseason activities as he awaits a contract extension from the organization. With the Chiefs set to take the field against the Detroit Lions in less than a week, head coach Andy Reid said he doesn't know if Jones will report for the Thursday Night opener. Needless to say, being without Jones would be a huge loss for the Chiefs' defense. He was named a first-team All-Pro last season after posting 15.5 sacks and is regarded as the best interior defensive lineman in the NFL other than Aaron Donald. The Lions have one of the league's best offensive lines, so Kansas City's pass rush could be neutralized without Jones' efforts.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
