New Jersey Devils defenseman Andy Greene (face) left Sunday's 4-1 win against the Buffalo Sabres in the first period after being hit in the face by a puck. He was forced out for a bit while he received medical attention, but he returned and finished with two assists, a plus-3 rating, a blocked shot and two hits. Meanwhile, the club was forced to play with center Travis Zajac (upper body), as he missed his first game since early November due to an upper-body injury. The Devils are back in action on Tuesday when the Pittsburgh Penguins pay a visit.--Daniel Dobish
