Andy Dalton Limited In Practice

Chicago Bears quarterback Andy Dalton (knee) was limited in practice on Thursday for the second straight day. After one of the worst quarterback performances in recent memory by Dalton's backup, rookie Justin Fields, it appears that the Bears certainly favor the veteran over the rookie. Head coach Matt Nagy did not appear to adapt his offensive scheme to cater to Fields' skill set despite his elite mobility. For fantasy, Dalton should not be rostered in single-QB leagues, but if he does return as the starting quarterback, that immediately benefits the Bears ancillary pieces. Although the former Bengal is not ideal for fantasy teams, if Nagy remains unwilling to change his scheme, the Bears offense will operate better under Dalton than Fields.
