Andrew Vaughn Down To .213 Average In May
2 years agoAfter a promising April where Chicago White Sox first baseman Andrew Vaughn hit .255 with three home runs and 20 RBI, he's been in a slump for most of May. Vaughn added 13 walks, giving him a .358 on-base percentage in April, but he's walked only five times this month. With his .213 average and five walks in May, Vaughn has a .264 on-base percentage for the month entering play Thursday night. He'll look to get it going at the plate in a four-game road series against the Detroit Tigers, though Vaughn has just one home run away from Guaranteed Rate Field this season.
