Andrew Toles Jailed For Sleeping Behind Airport
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andrew Toles was jailed this week after police said they found him sleeping behind the Key West airport in Florida. Toles was arrested on June 22 on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing after he refused to leave the area. Police gave him several chances to leave the area, but he wouldn't walk away. Toles was on the restricted list last year after he left the team's spring training facilities in late May due to a personal matter. He hit .364 and scored six runs for the Dodgers in the 2016 playoffs but missed most of the 2017 season with a torn ACL. The 28-year-old played in just 17 major league games in 2018 and hit .233 with no homers, four RBI and a stolen base. It's looking like a long shot that he will find his way back to the majors.
