Andrew Copp Records Three Points In Win Over Rangers
2 years agoDetroit Red Wings forward Andrew Copp saved his best performance of the season for his former team, putting together a three-point performance against the Rangers on Thursday, Copp, who spent the final few months of the season with the Rangers last year, opened the scoring and had two assists in a 4-1 win. The 28-year-old was a superb pickup by the Rangers at the trade deadline a year ago, as he averaged over a point per game for the team, but Copp has failed to replicate that form in Motown. His work for the season includes only six goals and 31 points through 57 games. The team has been hot lately, but Copp has tallied only five points for the month, which sums up how his debut campaign for the Red Wings is going.
