Carolina Hurricanes left wing Andrei Svechnikov has been ruled out indefinitely with a knee injury. The talented winger hurt his right knee Saturday against Vegas and his season could be finished if it's a very serious injury. Svechnikov underwent an MRI on Monday and the team is now having consultations with doctors to determine what to do next. The 22-year-old has recorded 23 goals, 32 assists and 140 hits in 64 games, so his absence will be felt in many ways. New addition Jesse Puljujarvi took Svechnikov's spot on the first line Sunday against New Jersey and will hope to hang on to it for as long as he can.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
