2 years agoCarolina Hurricanes left wing Andrei Svechnikov posted his third career hat trick in Thursday's big 7-2 victory over Edmonton. He had a goal in each period and the third one marked his 100th career goal. Svechnikov got back on track in front of goal after scoring just once in his previous seven appearances. It was an awful spell, but the 22-year-old had an incredible start to the season and is actually the third-best goal-scorer in the league with 11 markers. Svechnikov has also delivered six assists in 17 games, adding 25 hits. His year in 2021-22 was already impressive, as Svechnikov notched 30 goals and 69 points in 78 games, but it looks like he is ready to crush these numbers in 2022-23.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
