Andrei Svechnikov Leads The Charge Versus St. Louis
2 years agoCarolina Hurricanes left wing Andrei Svechnikov scored twice and had an assist as the team beat the Blues 4-1 Tuesday. He potted the first two goals of the game inside the opening eight minutes and collected an assist on Sebastian Aho's 25th marker of the season. This was a great night all around for Carolina's first line, as Aho had two points in total and Seth Jarvis finished with a goal and two assists. Svechnikov celebrated his second three-point outing in three games. It's been a fairly inconsistent campaign for the Russian winger, but he continues to make up for it with multi-point outings. Svechnikov has gone scoreless in 25 of his 56 appearances but has still managed a very respectable 21 goals and 28 assists.
