Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond (mouth) will not play Friday against the Memphis Grizzlies. Drummond was originally probable then downgraded to questionable before being ruled out entirely. Drummond will miss his second straight game with the ailment and Thon Maker will likely start in his place. However, Christian Wood is also a good bet to have more minutes off the bench. The Pistons play again on Saturday so Drummond may have been held out of this one in anticipation of the back-to-back set.--Dale Johnson
