5 months agoAndre Burakovsky agreed to a one-year, $3.25 million contract with the Colorado Avalanche on Monday. Acquired by the Avalanche on June 28th in exchange for Scott Kosmachuk as well as a 2020 second-round and third-round pick, Burakovsky is likely to slide into his new team's top-six forward group this upcoming season. The extremely talented 24-year-old will look to take a step forward offensively for his new team in 2019-2020, having just completed a somewhat disappointing 25-point (12 goals, 13 assists) campaign with the Caps. Given his offensive tools, Burakovsky serves as an intriguing sleeper for fantasy drafts this fall.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
