Cincinnati Bengals rookie first-round offensive tackle Amarius Mims, the 18th overall pick in April's NFL draft, signed his four-year, fully-guaranteed contract worth $15.37 million on Monday. The deal includes a $7.99 million signing bonus and a standard fifth-year option. The Bengals are hoping that Mims will immediately help improve an offensive line that has been a weak spot for Cincinnati in recent years. The 21-year-old from the University of Georgia is shouldn't be expected to start in Week 1 at right tackle after starting just eight games for the Bulldogs in college. Mims' sheer size (6-foot-8, 340 pounds) and athleticism will make it tough on edge rushers, though, and it would be a disappointment if he eventually didn't overtake Trent Brown in his rookie season as the starter at right tackle.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
