6 months agoCincinnati Reds left-hander Alex Wood allowed two runs over 4 2/3 innings in his 2019 debut on Sunday. Wood, who had spent the entire season on the injured list with a back injury, struck out four in the outing. The talented left-hander has trouble staying healthy, but when he is on the mound he is a quality pitcher, both in real life and in fantasy. Wood is worth a pickup in deeper leagues wherever you need help at the pitcher spot. He will take the mound against the Atlanta Braves for his next start.--Matt Terelle - RotoBaller
