Alex Verdugo Likely To Rest Saturday

Boston Red Sox outfielder Alex Verdugo (hamstring) left Friday night's game against the Phillies in the beginning of the seventh inning due to tightness in his left hamstring, and manager Alex Cora suggested he would give Verdugo the day off on Saturday. There does not seem to be a high level of concern surrounding the injury, but Verdugo will be checked out on Sunday to see what the prognosis is. Fantasy managers will be holding their breath to see if he misses time, but things already seem better than could have been expected in terms of severity.
