Columbus Blue Jackets forward Alex Nylander scored a pair of second-period goals as his team pulled off a massive upset over the visiting Colorado Avalanche. The 26-year-old has exploded seemingly out of nowhere this season, tallying 10 goals and 13 points in 17 games while firing 48 shots on goal in that time. The brother of Toronto's William Nylander, Alex has 22 goals and 45 points across 114 games in the NHL. He has also tallied 17 goals and 32 points across 43 games with the American Hockey League's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins this season.
