Alex Noren played his first tournament of the new season last week at The CJ Cup. He tied for 59th with a -10 score. Noren just could not make enough birdies even though he drove pretty well (fifth overall with 75% accuracy). The problem was the putter and his lack of ability to get to the green in a good position. When one ranks poorly in that metric, it becomes tough to string together birdies. Noren had to scramble a good bit last week as well which helped him to a 75% sand-save rate. However, this week, he cannot afford that many mistakes on the Narashino golf course. --Chris Wassel - RotoBallerRead More News
