Alex Gordon Knocks In Four
6 years agoOn Wednesday, Kansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon drilled a meatball out over the center field wall in KC for his first home run of the season. Up to bat with two on in the fifth inning, Kyle Gibson laid out up for Gordon right over the heart of the plate, and Gordon was able to lift it just over the center field fence. To say Gordon is on the back side of his career at this point is putting it mildly, but he may be able to provide a little bit of the power/speed combo for a super cheap price in deep leagues. Gordon will have a three-game set coming up with the Tigers to see if this one good day is the start of something.
