Ottawa Senators left wing Alex DeBrincat could miss his first game of the season Monday versus the Ducks after he was absent from the morning skate. Based on head coach D.J. Smith's comments, he is either banged up a bit or dealing with an illness, and the team officially regards DeBrincat as a game-time decision. If he isn't able to play, DeBrincat will be exiting the lineup in the middle of a hot stretch. He has gone scoreless just once in the past nine games, boosting his numbers for the season to seven goals and 15 assists. DeBrincat has been a bit underwhelming with his efforts during his debut campaign in Ottawa, but recent signs are certainly suggesting that he might be turning things around.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
