2 years agoHendrick Motorsports made an announcement Wednesday that both driver Alex Bowman and sponser Ally Financial have agreed to a multi-year extension with the team. Bowman, the driver for the No. 48 Hendrick Motor Chevrolet, has been a full-time driver for the team since 2018 and was coming into the 2023 season on the final year of a two-year extension. Bowman, who signed a three-year contract, will man the No. 48 Chevrolet until at least 2026. Meanwhile, his current sponsor, Ally Financial, has agreed to a five-year extension with Hendrick Motorsports, which solidifies the company as the main sponsor of the No. 48 NASCAR Cup Series team, its fifth season as the sole primary sponsor.--Eric DeWilde
