Alec Bohm Could Return On Saturday
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm (hamstring) told reporters on Monday that he believes he could return to the club on Saturday, according to MLB.com. The former top prospect was placed on the injured list on May 31 as he was dealing with a strained left hamstring. Before going down, Bohm was slashing .265/.321/.403 with six bombs, 23 runs, 37 RBI, and a pair of steals over 53 contests. Fantasy managers can expect Edmundo Sosa to keep getting the majority of reps at third base in his absence. The 27-year-old is hitting .254 with four home runs and one stolen base over 45 games and should be left on the waiver wire in most leagues.
