Kansas City Royals shortstop Alcides Escobar came into Tuesday's game in a 2-for-18 funk, but he got out of it in a hurry. Escobar racked up three hits, including a double, and had a defensive gem to help secure the Royals victory. It was Escobar's first extra-base hit since April 30, and only his ninth multi-hit game of the season. Escobar is still unworthy of being owned in any but the deepest leagues, but he's still doing just enough that it doesn't appear he'll be replaced in KC's starting lineup this season.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
