Albert Pujols Hits 702nd Career Home Run

St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols played in his final regular season game at Busch Stadium on Sunday. The veteran slugger smacked his 702nd home run, which ties him with Babe Ruth for second on the all-time list. Possibly, Pujols adds to his total before the season is over with three games left remaining on the schedule. The 42-year-old drove in three runs before being pulled out alongside Adam Wainwright and Yadier Molina in the fifth inning. The team wanted to celebrate their players even though it hurt their chances of winning the contest. Pujols will look to help the Cardinals win another ring before he rides off in the sunset.
