Adrian Peterson, Chris Thompson, Case Keenum Sit Out
5 years agoWashington Redskins running backs Adrian Peterson (quadriceps) and Chris Thompson (toe) and quarterback Case Keenum (foot, shoulder) all sat out of practice on Wednesday. Thompson is the most in danger of sitting out Week 7 against the 49ers with turf toe. You should consider other options if you've been using him as a PPR flex. Peterson's fantasy value has gone up after seeing a season-high 23 carries in Week 6, but he'll be a weak RB3 with limited upside against San Fran's imposing defense. Keenum is expected to remain the starter under center, but rookie Dwayne Haskins should eventually see more starts before 2019 is up. Keenum is a low-end QB2 in Week 7. If Thompson doesn't play this Sunday, Wendell Smallwood would be a desperation RB3/flex in deeper PPR setups.
