Adam Thielen Leads Vikings In Receiving In Week 2

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen caught four passes for 52 yards in Monday night's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He saw seven targets on 46 pass attempts from quarterback Kirk Cousins, as the veteran's longest catch went for 19 yards in this one. He led the team in receiving yardage despite finishing with the third-most targets, as Justin Jefferson and Irv Smith Jr. saw 12 and eight targets respectively. Moving forward, we should see Thielen get more usage close to the end zone, as he has proven to be one of the most dangerous red zone threats in the NFL the past few seasons. Jefferson figures to demand the lion's share of targets, but Thielen should be able to produce WR3/FLEX numbers moving forward.
