5 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen (ankle) is expected to wear protective padding around his stitched-up ankle in the Divisional game against the 49ers on Saturday, according to a source. Thielen is questionable to play, but all signs point to him being active in this big game. He had seven catches for 100-plus yards in the wild-card round, but Thielen has been injured for most of the season and will be facing off against a very strong Niners pass defense. There's also the chance that Thielen's stitches open up during the game on Saturday, which could cause him to miss some game action.
