Adam Svensson Looking For Putting Consistency
7 months agoAdam Svensson has been locked in from tee to green of late, as he's gained 4.7 strokes off the tee in his last three events combined while gaining at least 1.8 strokes on approach in all but one of his last seven PGA Tour appearances. However, the question mark for the Canadian comes in the form of his flat stick -- Svensson has lost strokes putting in six of his last eight starts, leading to made cuts but lackluster finishes on the weekend. The 30-year-old lost 5.2 strokes on the greens in a shortened showing the last time the Hamilton Golf & Country Club hosted the RBC Canadian Open, but he gained 1.2 strokes putting at the Charles Schwab last week. Which putter shows up on Thursday in Ontario may very well decide Svensson's fate between a missed cut and a top-20 finish.
