Adam Duvall Drives In Two With Two Hits On Tuesday
4 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Adam Duvall snapped a cold spell on Tuesday, going 2-for-4 with two RBI in a 6-2 win over the Colorado Rockies. Duvall's hits were both singles, and he did strike out in his other two trips to the plate. Duvall has been in a severe slump lately, striking out in almost half of his at bats over the past few weeks. He's up to a .207 batting average with a .650 OPS, but he does have a solid 35 RBI and aside from some miscues in Monday's game, has been playing excellent defense. Duvall is an extremely streaky hitter and can do anything from going 0-for-4 with four strikeouts to hitting three home runs and driving in runs in bunches from one game to the next. He's a frustrating outfielder to trot out in rotisserie or head-to-head leagues because he'll kill your batting average, but there's plenty of value to be had if you choose him carefully in DFS formats.
