Aaron Nola’s Quality Start Not Enough In Chicago
7 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies ace Aaron Nola did a solid job taking on the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field on Wednesday night. The 25-year-old went six innings and surrendered just three runs on four hits, although he did walk four. Additionally, he struck out six batters, tossing 92 pitches in the process. In the sixth inning, his club scored three runs to tie the game, taking Nola off the hook and giving him a no-decision. The Phillies would score two runs to take the lead but would blow the game in the bottom of the ninth.
