1 year agoAaron Nola, the ace of the Philadelphia Phillies, wrapped up his most difficult month of the season with a victory that put him first in the National League in wins. The 25-year-old defeated the Washington Nationals in a division game on Thursday night at Citizens Bank Park. Nola allowed just one run in this, his longest outing of the month. Prior to this performance, he’d surrendered six runs across his last 10 innings, including his shortest start of the season on the road at Milwaukee. With this victory, Nola will look to leave this month behind and build upon this to have a more successful July.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
