Aaron Nesmith Keeps Gaining Momentum
2 years agoIndiana Pacers guard/forward Aaron Nesmith had a great outing with multiple career highs against New York on Sunday, finishing a 109-106 loss with 23 points and 10 rebounds. In 31 minutes as a starter, Nesmith also tallied one steal while shooting 9-for-12 from the field with a 4-for-6 effort from downtown. The 23-year-old was back in the starting lineup Sunday and didn't disappoint, scoring in double figures for the fourth time in five games. Nesmith's emergence has been bad news for Jalen Smith, who was dumped to the bench for only the third time this season and logged just 11 minutes on Sunday. Smith has already been trending down for a couple of weeks, while Nesmith's fantasy stock is certainly on the rise.
