Aaron Judge To Undergo Tests On Thumb
7 years agoNew York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge jammed his thumb in the first inning of Friday’s series-opening victory against the New York Mets at Citi Field. The 26-year-old was sliding into second base when it happened, and the team’s trainers opted to tape his left thumb in an effort to avoid swelling. After the game, Judge stated that he’d undergo exams prior to Saturday’s game to test the thumb and determine his status for the next game. Judge currently leads the Yankees in home runs and RBI with 17 and 44, respectively.
