Aaron Judge Sitting Out Against Orioles
6 months agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (hand) is sitting out of Wednesday's contest against the visiting division-rival Baltimore Orioles, according to manager Aaron Boone. It doesn't come as a big surprise after Judge was forced to leave Tuesday's contest after being hit in the left hand by a pitch early in the contest. X-rays and a CT scan on the 32-year-old superstar's hand came back negative, though, much to the happiness of the Yankees and Judge's fantasy managers. Judge took some swings in the batting cage on Wednesday and is expected to avoid a trip to the injured list, which is great news. Check back on Thursday to see if Judge is able to play in the series finale against the O's. The Yankees haven't released their lineup for Wednesday's tilt yet, but Trent Grisham is likely to be covering for Judge in center field in the Bronx.
