Aaron Judge Sets Franchise Record On Saturday
5 months agoNew York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Baltimore Orioles. Judge blasted a mammoth 431-foot shot off Orioles pitcher Grayson Rodriguez in the top of the fifth inning. The 32-year-old set the franchise record by becoming the first Yankee to hit 34 home runs before an All-Star break. Roger Maris (33 in 1961) and Judge (33 in 2022) previously shared the franchise record. Judge is having a terrific first half of the season, slashing .308/.431/.683 with 34 home runs, 85 RBI, 73 runs, and five stolen bases over 95 games in 2024.
