Aaron Judge Likely To Require "Constant Maintenance"
10 months agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (toe) said his toe will likely require "constant maintenance" for the rest of his career, but that it's been feeling good so far this year. Judge tore a ligament in his right big toe last summer when he crashed into the outfield wall at Dodger Stadium in June and ended up missing two months. The 31-year-old avoided surgery, but it's something that all fantasy managers will be keeping a close eye on in 2024 and beyond. It's something that shouldn't be an issue in terms of Judge's power stroke moving forward, but it could cause him to take more rest days so that the Yankees can keep him fresh over the course of the season. Playing center field until prospect Jasson Dominguez (elbow) returns won't make it easier on his toe, either. Despite missing 56 games in 2023, Judge still finished fourth in the American League with 37 home runs.
