A.J. Lawson Signing Two-Way Deal With Timberwolves
2 years agoThe Minnesota Timberwolves are signing forward A.J. Lawson to a two-way contract, according to Shams Charania. Lawson had a strong Summer League showing as a member of the Dallas Mavericks' Summer League squad. Over five games, he averaged 15.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting 50% from three-point range on 5.2 attempts per game. Lawson is 6'6" and 22 years old. He played three years of college basketball at South Carolina, then went undrafted in 2021. He proceeded to spend a year in the G League and then he played in the Canadian Elite Basketball League last year.
