A.J. Green Being Held Out As Precaution
4 years agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green (hamstring) was held out of Tuesday's practice after tweaking his hamstring on Monday. Head coach Zac Taylor said he was holding Green out as a precaution and doesn't expect him to play in a scrimmage game later this week. "Obviously he needs to develop that chemistry with the quarterback, but again nothing I'm concerned about right now," Taylor said. Rookie wideout Tee Higgins (hamstring) was limited to individual work on Tuesday. An injury early in training camp isn't what you want to see from an aging wideout who missed all of last year with an injury and most of the last two seasons with injuries, but Green still has plenty of upside if he can stay healthy. The 32-year-old is a risk/reward WR3.
