The San Francisco 49ers agreed to acquire outside linebacker Dee Ford from the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for a 2020 second-round pick, sources informed of the situation told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Ford's new contract in San Fran is expected to be a five-year, $87.5 million deal. He specializes in rushing the passer in a 3-4 defensive scheme and had a career-high 13 sacks in Kansas City in 2018 and forced a league-high seven forced fumbles as a Pro Bowler. The former first-rounder has 30.5 career sacks and will team with DeForest Buckner to improve the 49ers pass rush.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
