Jamie's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Tuesday, 7/8/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.
It was a winning day in cash play yesterday despite a meh performance from Jacob deGrom. Tonight, we have a full night of action with 13 games, and it comes with some weather-related issues that will require monitoring. As always, jump into the RotoBaller Discord, and we'll be discussing and analyzing everything in real time.
Be sure to watch the trade rumor wire as well. As we've entered July, we're getting to a point where deals could happen any day, and the bigger ones could have far-reaching ramifications for the DFS slate.
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/8/2025, with the slate starting at 7:05 PM EST. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Nathan Eovaldi, SP - TEX ($10,000 DK/$9,400 FD)
Nathan Eovaldi was limited to 72 pitches in his first start off the IL, but he was highly efficient in five innings and still posted 23.45 DK points. I'm banking on the fact that he gets closer to a full workload tonight (90 would be fine), and I'll continue targeting this matchup against the Angels.
DeGrom only logged five strikeouts last night, but the Angels continue to have the highest K rate against righties, and that gap is widening. Eovaldi has a sparkling 2.35 FIP and 26.8% K rate and can easily hit value even if he's still stuck in the 80-85 pitch range.
Seth Lugo, SP - KC ($8,800 DK/$9,700 FD)
It's certainly fair to expect the Seth Lugo blowup is coming soon. He's been playing with fire all year, as his FIP is a run and a half higher than his ERA, and he has an 86.7% strand rate and 12.3% HR/FB rate. A winning GPP will likely occur when we guess the correct moment Lugo loses it, but I don't think that's tonight.
The Pirates do not offer an offense that should be feared against RHP, as they rank 28th in wOBA and last in ISO against them while also having the eighth-highest K rate. Lugo has averaged 26.9 DK PPG over his last four, and he's done it against far more difficult offenses than Pittsburgh.
Others To Consider (Cash/GPP):
- Hunter Brown, SP - HOU ($11,000 DK/$10,800 FD)
- Shota Imanaga, SP - CHC ($9,000 DK/$8,200 FD)
- Clayton Kershaw, SP - LAD ($7,700 DK/$8,500 FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Bobby Witt Jr., SS - KC ($5,400 DK/$4,100 FD)
The Royals are taking on the 28th-ranked Pirates' pitching staff, and the weather is supposed to be hot. Bobby Witt Jr. is on an absolute tear lately, with four multi-hit games in his last seven, and he's homered in consecutive games. Witt also has a 44.4% HHR this year against same-handed pitching.
Mitch Keller has been incredibly effective this year for Pittsburgh with a 3.24 FIP, but he gets a park and weather downgrade heading to KC. He also has an 18.8% K rate this season and is overmatched by Witt's superior hitting.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr., 1B - TOR ($5,500 DK/$3,400 FD)
The friggin' Blue Jays just keep on winning and are now up 3.5 games on the Yankees. While I'm thoroughly disgruntled as a Yankee fan, there's an upside to be had by continuing to roster Blue Jays in DFS. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and the Jays have possibly the best matchup on the slate against Aaron Civale.
The beleaguered White Sox righty currently has a 5.36 FIP, 31.1% GB rate, and a career-low 17.3% K rate. He's also backed by a bullpen that ranks 28th in FIP against RHP. Vlad has a career .214 ISO against same-handed pitching and is still far too cheap on FD.

Romy Gonzalez, 1B/2B DK (3B on FD) - BOS ($4,400 DK/$3,200 FD)
Yesterday, I called Romy Gonzalez the top overall per-dollar play, and he delivered with a triple, a homer, and 24 DK points. Tonight's matchup is not quite as good against Kyle Freeland, but it's still a platoon matchup that we can fully exploit.
Romy Gonzalez hit second yesterday for Boston, and he's melted lefty pitching to the tune of a .407 wOBA and .243 ISO. The Red Sox have an IRT of 5.4 runs, and Romy's price did not move on either site.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Corey Seager, SS - TEX ($4,400 DK/$3,200)
- Bryce Harper, 1B - PHI ($5,300 DK/$3,700 FD)
- Jonathan India, 2B - KC ($3,500 DK/$2,800 FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Ronald Acuna Jr., OF - ATL ($6,300 DK/$4,200 FD)
The Braves are a top stack tonight as they travel to a Triple-A bandbox to take on the Athletics. Ronald Acuna Jr. has come out of his injury, firing on all cylinders, and has not let up yet. He has a robust 1.011 OPS and will have the platoon edge against Jeffrey Springs tonight.
Ronald Acuña Jr. in 39 games:
AVG: .333
HR: 9
RBI: 18
OBP: .452
SLG: .565
OPS: 1.017 pic.twitter.com/rLtJAQjrdm— MLB (@MLB) July 6, 2025
Springs has a 31.4% GB rate and has allowed an 11.2% HR/FB rate, and pitching in his "home" park is not going to do him any favors. Acuna has a .388 wOBA and .237 ISO against LHP over the past three seasons and offers speed upside as well.
Jurickson Profar, OF ($3,300 DK/$3,000 FD)
Jurickson Profar is an easy choice tonight. He should hit in a prime spot for the aforementioned Braves and is mispriced on both sites (especially DK). With the Braves carrying an IRT of 5.5 runs, Profar has a great shot to hit five plate appearances in this one.
In addition to the price effect, Profar also hits for power better from the right side. Over the past three seasons, he's posted a .393 wOBA and .294 ISO.
Rob Refsnyder, OF - BOS ($3,700 DK/$2,800 FD)
Rob Refsnyder also came through for the Boston value plays last night, and we're going right back to him. Again, he's not the prototypical 3-4 hitter for any offense, but he's producing right now, and his prices do not reflect his recent play.
He's also far too cheap for the platoon upside he's offered this season. Refsnyder has a .401 wOBA and .235 ISO against LHP this season, and Freeland has a 4.37 FIP against RHB.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Shohei Ohtani, 1B/OF, LAD ($6,500 DK/$4,600 FD)
- Kyle Tucker, OF - CHC ($6,000 DK/$3,900 FD)
- Marcell Ozuna, OF - ATL ($3,800 DK/$3,100 FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
1. Boston Red Sox vs Kyle Freeland
The Red Sox came through for nine runs last night, and the main components of the stack all paid off. Freeland does a much better job at keeping the ball on the ground than Austin Gomber, but Vegas isn't buying it, as Boston still has an IRT of 5.4 runs. The Red Sox price tags make this the most affordable stack as well.
Favorite Combo: Gonzalez, Refsnyder, Anthony, Story
2. Atlanta Braves vs Jeffrey Springs
The Braves will play on the road against the Athletics in a Triple-A park, or as I like to call it, "Luis Severino Field". Like his fellow A's starters, Springs has had a massively difficult time pitching there, and the Braves are loaded with sluggers to take full advantage.
Favorite Combo: Acuna, Riley, Olson, Profar, Ozuna (yeah, I want five here)
3. Chicago Cubs vs Simeon Woods Richardson
The Cubs didn't get a player write-up in this article, but as an offense, they could be in a prime position to go off. The expensive price tags of the key players could scare off the field, but there are enough cheap pitchers on this slate to make it work. Simeon Woods Richardson has a 31.1% GB rate and a 4.75 xFIP.
Favorite Combo: Tucker, Suzuki, Crow-Armstrong, Busch
