Jamie's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Friday, 7/25/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Happy Friday, RotoBallers! Trade season is officially underway as the first domino fell last night. The Seattle Mariners acquired Josh Naylor from the Arizona Diamondbacks for two minor league pitchers, and it's been noted that the Arizona fire sale has started. More trades could come at any time, so stay vigilant when setting lineups.
I hope it's been a lucrative week for you all. I had a great mini-vacation with my family in Toronto and Montreal (and took in a game at Rogers Centre, which was beautiful). Tonight, we have a full 13-game dance card to tackle, and a lot of teams have shifted to different stadiums. As always, join us in the RotoBaller Discord for help and discussion.
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/25/2025, with the slate starting at 7:05 PM EST. DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Bryan Woo, SP - SEA ($10,500 DK/$10,400 FD)
There are some top-tier hitters going tonight that are in elite spots, so paying all the way up for starting pitching is a tricky proposition. As of this moment, I'd look to save a little money here, but it's possible lineup releases will provide the means to get top hitters AND a high-level pitcher. That's where Bryan Woo comes in.
Woo scuffled in his first start since the All-Star break, but he sits alone as the pitcher with the highest upside of the night. None of Woo's metrics are eye-popping - they're just all...really good. He has a 24.3% K rate backed by a 12% swinging strike rate, and he's induced ground balls at a 40% mark.
The matchup is what stands out here. Although it will be hot in Los Angeles tonight, Angel Stadium is a park that's minimally impacted by weather. The Angels have still struck out the most against RHP, giving Woo a solid matchup to target from both an outs recorded and K perspective.
Dean Kremer, SP - BAL ($8,000 DK/$9,000 FD)
The Baltimore pitching staff gets the enviable task this weekend of facing the Colorado Rockies (and not in Coors Field, of course). Colorado ranks 29th in wOBA and 30th in HHR against RHP, and they currently have an IRT of 3.3 runs in Baltimore.
Dean Kremer is currently rated as the top value pitcher of the night despite being pretty mid across the board. His 19.6% K rate is down from the last two seasons, as is his 38.2% GB rate. That said, the matchup is amazing as the Rockies also have the second-highest K rate against RHP (and are gaining on the Angels), and Kremer's 3.85 FIP indicates he's better than his 4.06 ERA.
Pay attention to the trade wire here as well, as it's very possible the Rockies' lineup could be thinned out even more before gametime.
Others To Consider (Cash/GPP):
- Nick Pivetta, SP - SD ($10,200 DK/$10,300 FD)
- Logan Webb, SP - SF ($9,300 DK/$10,200 FD)
- MacKenzie Gore, SP - WAS ($8,700 DK/$9,400 FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Elly De La Cruz, SS - CIN ($5,700 DK/$3,900 FD)
Elly De La Cruz just continues to mash baseballs and is a true five-tool player in the league. Tonight, he gets to play in Cincinnati, which is the next best hitters' park in baseball after Coors (save for the Triple-A parks this year), and Tampa Bay pitcher Zack Littell has allowed 1.83 HR/9 to LHB with only a 17% K rate.
De La Cruz has a solid .381 wOBA and .243 ISO against RHP this season, and he has 45 combined homers and steals. The Reds have an IRT approaching five runs, and De La Cruz should be right in the middle of Reds stacks in GPP. He's certainly cash viable as well, but that would mean passing on the top OFs.
Bryce Harper, 1B - PHI ($5,500 DK/$3,800 FD)
Philadelphia comes to New York for the weekend, and they bring some elite power lefties who will get to take shots at the short RF porch of Yankee Stadium. Will Warren will be on the hill for the Yanks. While his peripherals look really good, his kryptonite has been lefty power.

Warren has allowed a .372 wOBA to LHB as opposed to a .260 mark to righties, and he's also given up 1.60 HR/9 to southpaws. Bryce Harper continues to beat on righty pitching at a high rate, with a .381 wOBA and .248 ISO. He and Kyle Schwarber will be a popular pairing in GPPs, and Harper's lower K rate makes him a strong cash target.
Jazz Chisholm Jr., 2B (DK), 2B/3B (FD) - NYY ($5,400 DK/$3,700 FD)
The other side of the Yankees/Phillies game is where even more value lies, with New York sporting a slate-high 5.6 IRT. Phillies pitcher Taijuan Walker has allowed 1.94 HR/9 since the beginning of last season, and has a 38.6% FB rate in that span. That's not going to do him any favors, pitching in Yankee Stadium.
Jazz Chisholm Jr. has posted an elite barrel rate coming out of the break, and he's a perfect splits candidate for stacking. While he's struggled against lefty pitching, Jazz has flamed RHP for a .357 wOBA and .243 ISO. He generally hits anywhere from third to fifth in the Yankee order, giving him ample RBI opportunities.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Bobby Witt Jr., SS - KC ($5,500 DK/$3,700 FD)
- Nick Kurtz, 1B - ATH ($4,900 DK/$3,900 FD)
- Carlos Correa, SS - MIN ($3,400 DK/$2,500 FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Shohei Ohtani, 1B/OF (DK), OF (FD) - LAD ($6,500 DK/$4,700 FD)
Shohei Ohtani vs Aaron Judge is going to be one of the premier debates of the evening. It will be almost impossible to fit both unless you totally punt pitching (a viable path in GPP but not cash). If we're absolutely 100% being forced to choose between the two, I'm going to go Ohtani in a vacuum, although Judge fits the GPP profile better since the Yankees are a better stack team.
The Japanese two-way phenom is currently on a five-game homer streak. While this isn't a reason to chase in GPP, it does at least indicate that he's barreling the ball at an elite rate right now, and leading off on the road will likely give him a crack at five plate appearances.

Boston pitcher Brayan Bello is a lot like the aforementioned Warren. He can light up the scoreboard with strikeouts, but can also be had by lefty power hitters (career .350 wOBA and 1.27 HR/9 allowed). There's no better lefty hitter in the game, and Ohtani has blistered RHP for a .447 wOBA, .395 ISO, and 48.6% HHR.
Ramon Laureano, OF - BAL ($4,200 DK/$3,300 FD)
We're going to need some cheaper players if we're going to fit some of these expensive bombers tonight. Ramon Laureano has been sizzling in the second half so far with three homers in his last four games, and Baltimore has a strong IRT at 5.2 runs.
Laureano should hit cleanup for Baltimore tonight and will take on Kyle Freeland, who has given up a .350 wOBA and 40.6% HHR to RHB. Laureano has been a surprise source of power in the platoon split as well this year, posting a .348 wOBA and .210 ISO against LHP.
Trent Grisham, OF - NYY ($4,200 DK/$2,800 FD)
Trent Grisham is another solid source of savings tonight, particularly on FanDuel. While Grisham is generally not the guy who's going to break the slate in GPPs, he's an amazing cash play as the likely leadoff hitter for the Yankees. He doesn't get enough credit for his plate discipline, as he's only struck out three times in the month of July.
Grisham is still contributing in the power department as well, with 17 homers and career highs in OPS (.836) and ISO (.217). He'll get to take on Walker in Yankee Stadium, and Grisham has a .356 wOBA and .238 ISO against RHP this season.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Aaron Judge, OF - NYY ($6,400 DK/$4,900 FD)
- Pete Crow-Armstrong, OF - CHC ($5,800 DK/$4,100 FD)
- Kyle Schwarber, OF - PHI ($5,900 DK/$4,300 FD)
- Cam Smith, OF - HOU ($3,500 DK/$2,900 FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
1. New York Yankees vs Taijuan Walker
The Yankees will take on Walker and his 1.94 HR/9 since the beginning of 2024, and they'll get to do it in humid New York. They have an IRT of 5.6 runs (highest on the slate) and offer power upside from top to bottom. This stack isn't difficult to manage, either, as most of the hitters outside of Judge are very favorably priced.

Favorite Combo: Grisham, Judge, Chisholm Jr., Stanton
2. Chicago Cubs vs Adrian Houser
The Cubs didn't get any love for individual write-ups in this article, but as a stack, they rank high in the battle of the Chicago teams (which used to be exciting). Adrian Houser's 82% strand rate and 17.7% K rate both scream regression, and the Cubbies are replete with lefty power. This stack is tougher than the Yankees, but should be less owned as a result. The White Sox bullpen is also ranked last in the majors in FIP.
Favorite Combo: Busch, Tucker, Crow-Armstrong, Happ
3. Baltimore Orioles vs Kyle Freeland
After getting beaten up by the Cleveland Guardians for four games, Baltimore finds itself in an immediate get-right spot against the lowly Rockies. The Orioles have an IRT of 5.2 runs and have the most affordable stack of the evening against Freeland and the 29th-ranked Colorado bullpen.
Favorite Combo: Westburg, Henderson, Laureano, O'Neill
