MLB DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (9/15/24) - Today's Top Lineups

Aaron Judge - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

The top MLB DFS daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings on September 15, 2024. Mike Marteny's MLB DFS sleepers picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

DraftKings chopped up the slate a little more than FanDuel did today. FanDuel has nine games since they included the Reds and Twins. DK chopped it off so they could have a lame two-game early slate. FD also added Coors to their main slate. Ouch! DK's seven-gamer suddenly looks more appetizing.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on Sunday, September 15, 2024, with the slate starting at 1:05 p.m. EDT on FanDuel and 1:35 EDT on DraftKings. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential. Good luck, RotoBallers!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Carlos Rodon vs. BOS ($8.8K DraftKings; $10.1K FanDuel)

Rodon is inducing a lot of swings and misses lately. Boston is striking out at a bloated 28.9% (fourth-worst in the majors) against LHP over the last month. Add in Rodon's home dominance (8-2, 2.94 ERA, 81 strikeouts in 70 1/3 IP), and you have a recipe for success today.

Cristopher Sanchez vs. NYM ($8.2K DraftKings; $9.7K FanDuel)

Here we have another guy who loves home cooking. Sanchez is 7-3 with a 2.11 ERA at home this year. He's not going to dazzle us with strikeouts, but his offense is crushing LHP lately and David Peterson just got Christmas-treed in his last start. On FD, I would find the extra $400 for Rodon, but Sanchez is reasonably priced enough to run as SP2 on DK.

JP Sears at CWS ($7.8K DraftKings; $8K FanDuel)

The White Sox have cut down their strikeout rate against LHP to 24.7% in the last month, but the 49 wRC still leaves much to be desired. It's still an improvement over the month before that so...progress is progress.

Sears dominated the Sox in his first start against them. He gave up just three hits and a run in seven innings while striking out five. We can expect a similar outing today on the South Side.

Also consider: MacKenzie Gore vs. MIA, Jared Jones vs. KC, Sean Burke vs. OAK

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Jose Ramirez – 3B, CLE vs. Taj Bradley ($6.3K DK; $4.3K FD)

Ramirez is riding a modest seven-game hitting streak. He hit his first homer since Sept. 1 last night. He still has an outside shot at a 40/40 season. Facing a guy like Taj Bradley should help. Taj has allowed a dozen homers in his last seven starts.

Spencer Horwitz – 1B/2B, TOR vs. Miles Mikolas ($4K DK; $3.1K FD)

Horwitz is still mashing the ball lately. He's not as hot as he was last weekend, but he's still driving in runs. The Cardinals acted like they didn't even want to pitch to him last night. He walked three times. Hey, if they're just going to walk him, that's free points too! Considering what he did last weekend, I don't blame them...

Jose Tena – 3B, WAS vs. Adam Oller ($3.3K DK; $2.6K FD)

Tena has a hit in eight of his last nine games, notching two hits in four of those games. He homered and stole a base last night. It has been a nice run of late for Tena, with three steals in the last four games as well. He's way too cheap for this kind of production.

Also consider: Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Gleyber Torres, Trevor Story

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Aaron Judge – OF, NYY vs. Kutter Crawford ($6.7K DK; $4.7K FD)

All rise! Judge is 6-for-19 in his career against Crawford with three homers. It's a good day to hang out in the left field bleachers at Yankee Stadium.

Lane Thomas – OF, CLE vs. Taj Bradley ($4.1K DK; $3.2K FD)

Thomas had a miserable start to his Cleveland career, but he has come around lately. He has two homers and nine RBI in the last five games alone. Overall, Thomas is hitting .367 in September with four homers, 15 RBI, and a steal in 13 games. The hot streak should keep going against the struggling Taj Bradley.

Pete Crow-Armstrong – OF, CHC vs. Cal Quantrill ($3.2K FD)

I'm not going to stack against Quantrill, but I do want at least one Cub for when they inevitably get to that bullpen. PCA homered and stole a base last night and is hitting .293 in September. This is a decent price for Coors, so I'm all for it!

Also consider: Kyle Schwarber, Lawrence Butler, Byron Buxton

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

1. Rockies vs. Kyle Hendricks

2. Guardians vs. Taj Bradley

3. Yankees vs. Kutter Crawford
