Michael Pittman Jr. start or sit Week 11 advice. Fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 11 (2024). Should I start or sit Michael Pittman Jr. for fantasy football?
BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (back) has been a big disappointment for fantasy managers this season, but there's a good reason why. He's been dealing with a back injury. For how long, we don't exactly know, but his recent terrible performances suggest it's serious.
The Colts should put Michael Pittman on IR. Time to give AD Mitchell more snaps on offense. He looked solid today and should be giving the opportunity to build off today’s game moving forward in 2024. MPJ being on the field hurts the team more than anything. #ForTheShoe pic.twitter.com/5w6GUDQsqP

It's strange that Indy prefers to have Pittman keep playing through his injury. At one point, it was reported that he was under consideration for placement on injured reserve. That didn't happen, and he looks nothing like his 2023 self on the field this season. In his last two games, he's caught just two passes for 30 yards total.
This is in spite of playing 95% and 76% of snaps in those two contests. He's clearly not 100%, and fantasy managers should stash him on their benches to see if he can return to better health. A player that scores under three PPR fantasy points in two straight weeks isn't start-worthy, though.
