Later-Round Fantasy Football Draft Values: Wide Receiver Sleepers (2025)

Cedric Tillman - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Five wide receiver (WR) fantasy football sleepers, value picks to target late in 2025 drafts. These are undervalued WR sleepers to draft in the later rounds.

At RotoBaller HQ, we are back with more sleepers to help crush the later rounds of your upcoming fantasy football drafts. Today, we focus on wide receivers with our later-round wide receivers fantasy football draft values and sleepers for the 2025 season. The later rounds of the fantasy football draft can be the difference between winning and losing your league. Once you reach a certain point in the draft, fantasy managers can afford to take risks and chances on high-upside players. There are multiple directions you can go in the later rounds in choosing a variety of different players, including prospects, players returning from injuries, forgotten veterans, or even skilled players with potential playing time concerns.

It's essential to have at least a handful of sleeper targets at each position heading into your fantasy football drafts, no matter the format. Here are some late-round wide receivers for you to consider drafting this season.

Our editors have hand-picked these specific NFL players for your draft prep enjoyment. Usually only available to Premium subscribers, the outlooks below are meant to give you a taste of the in-depth analysis you receive with our industry-leading 2025 Draft Kit. Be sure to subscribe today and start reading all 300+ of our 2025 player outlooks, along with many other premium articles and tools available exclusively in our 2025 Draft Kit.

Luther Burden III, Bears, Fantasy Football Outlook

The Chicago Bears selected former Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden III with the 39th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Once considered a first-round talent, Burden's junior season was disappointing as he only recorded 676 receiving yards and six touchdowns. His sophomore season was much more promising, as he went for 1,212 yards and nine touchdowns through the air. Burden is often compared to Washington Commanders receiver Deebo Samuel Sr., and could take on an Amon-Ra St. Brown-esque role in first-year head coach Ben Johnson's offense.

However, Burden has to compete for touches with Rome Odunze and DJ Moore. he showed promise in training camp and caught two passes for 29 yards in the first preseason game, including a 16-yard reception. Burden is rightfully priced as the WR58, and could either boom or bust this season, making him worth a late-round flier in most leagues.

Kyle Williams, Patriots, Fantasy Football Outlook

The New England Patriots chose wide receiver Kyle Williams in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He'll join a team that was desperate for help at the WR position after disappointing results last season. New England did sign WR Stefon Diggs to a three-year, $69 million contract in the offseason.

He's 31 years old, and he tore his ACL around midseason last year. While Diggs was cleared to start the 2025 season, he won't be anywhere near his previous form, and he was fine with the Texans. Williams, meanwhile, was one of the most underrated WRs in all of the 2025 draft cycle.

His release package is excellent, and yet the offense Williams was in didn't ask him to run a lot of polished NFL receiver routes. His skills after the catch and with the ball in his hands are one culprit for that, yet they'll be a boon in the NFL as well.

Williams should secure the New England's WR3 role and potentially could have been targeted heavily by quarterback Drake Maye, who played admirably in 2024 despite having zero offensive line and zero pass-catching talent on his team. Williams is worth a late-round flier and is currently WR65 in the latest RotoBaller rankings.

Cedric Tillman, Browns, Fantasy Football Outlook

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman has an opportunity to emerge in the new-look Cleveland passing attack in 2025. There is plenty of uncertainty regarding the Browns' offense, with the most glaring question, of course, being who will be the quarterback. Tillman showed flashes of becoming an impact player in fantasy during a stretch of games last season, after the Amari Cooper trade and Deshaun Watson's injury.

From Weeks 7-11, including a Week 10 bye, he averaged 10 targets with six receptions and 75 yards per game while scoring three total touchdowns. He was WR6 in PPR points at this time. Then, the 25-year-old suffered a concussion in Week 12 and ended up missing the rest of the season. This stretch coincided with Jameis Winston under center and with elevated passing volume.

The Browns had an early down pass rate of 59.8 percent during this span, which ranked second in the NFL. Historically, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski has typically leaned a bit more run-heavy, with a negative three percent pass rate over expected since 2020, according to RBSDM.com.

Another time Stefanski leaned into the pass more was when Joe Flacco took over late in 2023, when they led the league with an early down pass rate of 64.9% from Weeks 13 through 17. Flacco is the favorite to win the job by some, but it is still up in the air. It's also worth considering that the Browns drafted two running backs in the 2025 draft and could be gearing up to establish the run. Plus, talented pass catchers Jerry Jeudy and David Njoku remain strong competitors for targets.

However, they are tied for the lowest projected win total by Vegas, so there should be plenty of favorable game scripts as they are expected to play from behind frequently. This combination of factors gives Tillman a fairly wide range of outcomes and makes him an intriguing upside bet to make later in your drafts.

Marquise Brown, Chiefs, Fantasy Football Outlook

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown (ankle, foot) was re-signed by his team this offseason after missing nearly all of 2024 with an injury to his sternoclavicular joint. The dislocation occurred in a preseason game. Brown is now set to slot in behind Rashee Rice (knee) and Xavier Worthy as the WR3, though he could reasonably compete with Worthy for a WR2 role of sorts.

That has solid fantasy value if quarterback Patrick Mahomes can fix his deep-ball issues. Mahomes struggled mightily with deep passing in 2024 and 2023 after being one of the best quarterbacks in the league in that area in previous seasons. Hollywood is dealing with an ankle and foot injury, missing a few weeks of practice as a result.

Despite the injuries, Brown figures to work the intermediate and deep middle of the field often, as he has great speed, but isn't the speedster Worthy is and doesn't have the yards-after-catch ability Rice possesses. He's a nice bench stash or dart throw in deeper leagues with intriguing contingent upside, especially with Rice expected to be suspended anywhere from four to six games this year.

--John Johnson - RotoBaller

Jalen McMillan, Buccaneers, Fantasy Football Outlook

While there was plenty of optimism for Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Jalen McMillan after he scored eight touchdowns in his rookie season, things don't look so good now. For starters, he had a massively unsustainable touchdown rate. Over 21 percent of his catches were TDs, and that's just not feasible long-term.

Additionally, the team drafted WR Emeka Egbuka with their first-round pick, and he's mostly a power-slot receiver. Chris Godwin (ankle) is still recovering from a dislocated ankle he suffered last year and could start the season on the PUP list, opening up targets in a crowded Tampa Bay wide receiver room.

McMillan will have early-season value with Godwin sidelined, but will have to compete with superstar Mike Evans and stud rookie Egbuka for targets. McMillan did a lot of damage with Godwin out last season and is worth the late-round flier, and could easily surpass his WR66 ranking at RotoBaller.
