Sign Up Now!The breaking news today is that Pacheco is healthy and was able to practice all week in some type of capacity, but the Chiefs are going to hold him out one more game in an abundance of caution and because they have a short week as they play on Thursday night next week.
#Chiefs coach Andy Reid told reporters that Isiah Pacheco and Charles Omenihu won’t play this week against the #Panthers.
Pacheco is healthy enough to go, but based on the coaches and trainers recommendation, with a short week coming up, he’ll wait.

It's unclear how much work he will get in his first start, but it's hard to imagine he will be thrust right back into a 65% snap share right away. However, with KC's offensive line and a matchup against the Raiders next week, he's still probably going to be startable in most formats.
For this week, leave him on your bench and hope that Kareem Hunt gets a million touches, leaving Pacheco a better shot at more touches in Week 13.
