Latavius Murray - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Is Latavius Murray injured or healthy? Latavius Murray's injury outlook for Week 12 fantasy football? Read the latest fantasy football injury news for Denver Broncos running back Latavius Murray.

As we head into Week 12 of the NFL season, fantasy managers should stay plugged into all injury situations in order to stay at the top of their leagues.

Now the lead back in the Denver Broncos backfield, Latavius Murray has been nursing a wrist injury throughout the week.

Is Latavius Murray healthy or injured? What is his fantasy football injury outlook for Week 12?

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Is Latavius Murray Hurt Or Healthy?

The 32-year-old running back has played well since joining the Denver Broncos earlier this season. However, Latavius Murray has been nursing a wrist injury this week.

Murray has practiced in limited fashion all week ahead of this Sunday's clash with the Carolina Panthers. Despite his limited practice participation throughout the week, Murray's injury should be considered a minor one and he enters Week 12 without an official injury designation.

Latavius Murray Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 12

With the news that the Denver Broncos waived the perma-fumbling Melvin Gordon earlier this week and that Chase Edmonds is likely to miss multiple weeks with a high-ankle sprain, Murray appears set to take over as the clear lead back for the Broncos. And while we're clearly dealing with a bad offense in Mile High, it's a role that fantasy managers can't ignore.

Murray is averaging just 3.3 yards per carry, but volume and consistent goal-line work can mask a lot of shortcomings. He carried the ball 17 times for 49 yards and a TD in Week 11 against the Raiders, while also mixing in four catches for 23 yards through the air.

While Murray's upside is capped to an extent due to Denver's offensive inefficiencies, his sizable role as a clear lead back does offer fantasy value. GMs that need help can confidently add him and start him against the lowly Carolina Panthers in Week 12.
