Is D'Onta Foreman Healthy Or Injured? Fantasy Football Injury Update

D'Onta Foreman - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Is D'Onta Foreman hurt or healthy? Is D'Onta Foreman playing in Week 14 fantasy football or is he injured? Read the latest Week 14 fantasy football injury updates.

Carolina Panthers running back D'Onta Foreman has played well in his first year with the team. Over the first six weeks this season, the veteran running back had only 12 rushing attempts. However, things changed.

The Panthers traded superstar running back Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 7 for a bounty of draft picks. After trading away their best player, Carolina handed the starting role over to Chuba Hubbard.

However, Hubbard got hurt in the Week 7 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, opening the door for Foreman to take over as the lead back. Not only did the former Longhorn take over as the lead back, but he has become the team’s featured running back.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Is D'Onta Foreman Healthy Or Injured?

Since taking over as the team’s featured back in Week 7, the veteran has averaged 87.7 rushing yards per game. Furthermore, he has rushed for 113 or more yards in 67% of those games, including two of the past three contests before the team’s bye in Week 13.

Unfortunately, Foreman suffered a foot injury a few weeks ago against the Denver Broncos. While the team had their bye last week, the starting running back missed practice on Wednesday. However, Foreman believes he will be ready to play against the Seattle Seahawks this week.

Should I Add Chuba Hubbard Off The Waiver Wire?

While Foreman says he will play this week, fantasy players should still add Hubbard off the waiver wire. The second-year running back is coming off his best game of the year in Week 12 with 17 rushing attempts for 65 yards in the win over the Broncos.

More importantly, Hubbard would be the featured running back if Foreman is out this week. The former Oklahoma State star is available in roughly 85% of ESPN leagues.

The reason why fantasy players should add Hubbard is the matchup. The Seahawks have surrendered 25.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game to running backs this season, the second-most in the NFL. They have also given up 111.9 rushing yards per game to the position, the seventh-most in the league this year.

Furthermore, Seattle has gotten destroyed by running backs lately. Over their past three matchups, the Seahawks have surrendered 168.7 rushing yards, 1.7 rushing touchdowns, and 34.4 fantasy points per game to running backs.

If Foreman is out this week, Hubbard is a high-end RB2 against Seattle.
