Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert exited Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns with a hamstring injury and didn't return.

Goedert was targeted once in the 20-16 win and failed to bring in the target.

Dallas Goedert Injury Update for Fantasy Football

Dallas Goedert injured his hamstring on Sunday against the Browns. The team hasn't said much about how much time Goedert might miss with the injury.

Head coach Nick Sirianni said on Monday that the team is still waiting on more information. That could mean anything, but fantasy managers should definitely make sure they have a replacement option in fantasy this week in case Goedert winds up missing the game against the Giants.

Goedert has had a strong season, including an explosive game last month against the New Orleans Saints in which he caught 10 passes for 170 yards. He's been a reliable fantasy option at the tight end position.

 

Dallas Goedert Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 7

If Goedert suits up in Week 7, fantasy managers should certainly make room in their lineup for him. He's a top 10 play at the position every week, especially with the position being shallow in fantasy this week.

But what if Goedert misses the game? Fantasy managers might want to think about streaming Eagles tight end Grant Calcaterra, a third-year player out of SMU who entered the season with just nine career receptions.

Calcaterra had played a reserve role all year, but he impressed in extended action in Week 6, catching all four of his targets for 67 yards. He would be a high-end TE2 play if Goedert is unable to go.
