Is Amon-Ra St. Brown Hurt or Healthy? Week 3 Fantasy Football Injury Update

Amon-Ra St. Brown - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Is Amon-Ra St. Brown hurt or healthy? Is Amon-Ra St. Brown playing in Week 3? Read the latest Amon-Ra St. Brown fantasy football injury updates and outlook.

Coming off an impressive overtime win in Week 1 against the Los Angeles Rams, Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Detroit Lions lost 20-16 in Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 24-year-old wideout had only three receptions for 13 yards against the Rams but bounced back strong against the Buccaneers. Unfortunately, on the Lions' last drive of the game, he suffered an injury and hobbled off the field in pain.

How serious is Brown's injury? Will he feature in Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals? Take a look at the latest injury update and fantasy outlook of the Lions' star:

Amon-Ra St. Brown Injury Update for Fantasy Football

According to Adam Schefter, St. Brown was initially determined to have only a contusion and cramps. After the game, Lions head coach Dan Campbell also confirmed that the receiver's injury was not serious.

St. Brown is not expected to miss any time and is on track to play in Week 3 against the Cardinals. The Lions need to bounce back from the defeat against the Buccaneers, and they need their star receiver to get past the frisky Cardinals.

Against the Buccaneers, the USC product finished with 11 receptions for 119 yards on 19 targets. With Jameson Williams getting better every week, St. Brown now has more freedom to dominate the opposition defenses, which is a positive sign for everyone who drafted him.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Fantasy Football Outlook

In two games this season, St. Brown has 14 receptions for 132 yards. He is yet to score a touchdown, but the fact that Jared Goff has thrown him the ball 25 times in two games puts St. Brown in position for another big season.

In PPR scoring leagues, St. Brown has accumulated a total of 27.2 points. He will go against the Cardinals in Week 3, a game that the Lions will be desperate to win. Hence, expect another excellent performance from the Lions' WR1.

St. Brown has played the Cardinals once in his career, and in that game, he finished with eight receptions for 90 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets.

St. Brown signed a four-year $120.01 million deal this past offseason after coming off a season in which he had 119 receptions for 1,515 yards and 10 touchdowns in 16 games, averaging 94.7 receiving yards per game.
