Ford EcoBoost 400 DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy NASCAR Lineup Picks

It's the end of the road for the 2019 NASCAR season as the series heads to Homestead-Miami Speedway for the last hoorah. Martin Truex Jr., Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, and Kevin Harvick will duke it out on the track Sunday night, and as you would imagine, Joe Gibbs Racing is heavily favored. The most notable thing about this situation is that Hamlin will be competing against three previous champions in search to put his first championship in the bag.

Over the weekend, rain caused some issues with qualifying and practice, leaving the starting order determined by owner points. In the only practice the drivers had, Busch had the fastest speed of 168.966 followed by teammates Hamlin, and Truex Jr. finishing second and third. Since there won't be a more in-depth view of how the cars are running this weekend before the green flag waves Sunday, it's important to turn to the record books to get a view on how things could shake up.

Before you check the final race's Driver Picks, I personally wanted to thank you for reading our NASCAR content on a weekly basis. I am sad that the year is already coming to a close, but in 2020 we are looking to really shake things up for our readers, and get you a lot more involved with what we are doing with our  NASCAR team. We want to hear your ideas, and suggestions to make RotoBaller your primary source for NASCAR DFS content so please reach out to me via social media @GarageGuyChase with your thoughts.

DFS Lineup Picks - DraftKings, FanDuel

Kevin Harvick #18 (DraftKings $10,800 | FanDuel $14,000)

Harvick will be starting second on Sunday, and should be able to take over the lead early in this race. In the only practice that took place over the weekend, Harvick finished ninth with a speed of 166.806.

His practice time doesn't concern me one bit based on how well Harvick's record is at this track. Look to build some lineups around the underdog this Sunday with his impressive average of 70.25 FPTS since 2017.

Matt DiBenedetto #95 (DraftKings $7,600 | FanDuel $5,500)

DiBenedetto has had one hell of a year, and I look for him to finish strong on Sunday. At only $7,600 on DraftKings, you can throw in some of the championship contenders to make a strong lineup aside DiBenedetto.

Starting in P21, DiBenedetto should easily get himself a Top 20 finish based on his finishes at other intermediate tracks this season. DiBenedetto finished practice 11th with a speed of 166.482.

Joey Logano #22 (DraftKings $9,800 | FanDuel $12,000)

Logano may not be competing for another title, but you can bet he will be racing like he is. Logano has finished three out of four races inside the Top 5 since 2015, and holds an average of 69.50 FPTS when running Homestead.

A fun fact to note is that Logano started in fifth last year at this track when he won the championship, and he will be starting in that same position on Sunday. Out of the three Penske drivers, Logano should be your best bet to rack those points.

Martin Truex Jr. #19 (DraftKings $10,600 | FanDuel $14,000)

Truex Jr. will be starting in P3 on Sunday, and ran well at practice with a speed of 168.460. Out of all the JGR guys, I like Truex Jr. to take the win and the championship on Sunday.

Aside from my confidence, Truex Jr. boasts an impressive 72.75 FPTS average at this track, and has had two Top 3 finishes in his past two trips to Homestead. Truex Jr. could paint another masterpiece as he did in Martinsville, and if so you will need him for those led laps.

Sleeper Pick

David Ragan #38 (DraftKings $5,700 | FanDuel $3,500)

Ragan will be making his final run in the cup series on Sunday, and after viewing his track record, he makes for an interesting sleeper in DFS this weekend. Paul Menard joins Ragan as the two retiring drivers this season.

Ragan has consistently finished races at this track with positive placement, and the extra motivation to chase a good finish on his last hoorah could be the difference maker that puts you deep in the money with your lineups. Ragan had a speed of 163.334 in practice and starts in P31.
