First Data 500 DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy NASCAR Lineup Picks

It's time for one last "ITS HOT DOG SZN" scream as NASCAR heads to Martinsville Speedway (aka The Paper Clip...aka The Clip...aka Wild Boy Hot Dog Paper Clip City) for the last time this season. I don't know if anyone out there is more excited for this race than me this weekend, based on the fact that I literally would have been rolling in cash if I would have put some money down in DFS on the STP 500 back in March. I'm looking to redeem myself with the bag this Sunday, and I want you to succeed with me.

Denny Hamlin has been on fire in weeks past, and just secured the Pole on Saturday with a speed of 97.840. Hamlin obviously has every opportunity to take charge of this race being upfront, but there are some other hungry souls not too far behind him looking to extend their playoff hopes for Homestead. Those drivers include Chase Elliott (P2), Martin Truex Jr.(P3), Ryan Blaney (P6), and Joey Logano (P10).

Another driver in the playoffs who hasn't hit victory lane in a hot minute is Kyle Busch (starting P13 this Sunday). Big things to note for this race are the crazy af restarts, sketchy corners, and a pit road that hooks. Martinsville is going to be absolutely nuts, and these guys below should give you your best shot at stacking bands this weekend.

DFS Lineup Picks - DraftKings, FanDuel

Kyle Busch #18 (DraftKings $11,800 | FanDuel $15,000)

Rowdy Busch is the priciest boy in the DFS world and he's going straight to must play this week. Busch knows he wants another win before Homestead, and with his short-track special moves, this could be the week.

Busch will be starting from P13 on Sunday and finished the first practice fifth with a speed of 95.709. You just can't go wrong with this guy for those fantasy points this week.

Ryan Blaney #12 (DraftKings $9,300 | FanDuel $11,500)

Blaney has really stepped his game up in recent weeks, and I'm here for it. I want to see this type of competitive nature out of him moving forward in his career, because quite frankly it's time.

Not only did Blaney finish both practices inside the Top 10, but he secured the sixth spot from the pole for Sunday's race. Between these numbers from Saturday and Blaney having Brad Keselowski's pit crew, I'm excited to plug him in my lineup.

Joey Logano #22 (DraftKings $10,100 | FanDuel $12,000)

Joey "Rocket Man" Logano needs himself a win "bad bad". Back in March, Logano grabbed the pole and finished 19th, so I think he's going to take the necessary steps to make sure that it doesn't happen again.

The last time Logano started 10th was back in October of 2018 when he won the race (cool stat). On Saturday, Logano finished first in the first practice with a speed of 96.657.

Paul Menard #21 (DraftKings $7,100 | FanDuel $6,500)

Menard is the wildcard of this group (obviously), but when it comes to getting those big fantasy points you have to take some shots. It's like a wise man once told me, "You gotta risk it to get the biscuit", and I want the Biscuit!

In the past five years, Menard has only had one Top 10 finish at this track, but for the most part, he finishes with positive place differential at this track when he starts toward the rear. Menard starts in P30 on Sunday, and that's enough to make me mix him in with these other key players.
