Week 4 Kicker Rankings Outlooks
Cameron Dicker, Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker enters Week 4 as a must-start fantasy option after his game-winning heroics against the Denver Broncos last week. Dicker has been perfect this season, making all seven of his field goal attempts and every extra point.
Dicker is essentially matchup-proof at this point. The Chargers' offense is expected to move the ball effectively against the New York Giants' struggling defense, creating numerous scoring opportunities for the kicker. RotoBaller projects Dicker as K3 this week, and fantasy managers should see Dicker as a must-start kicker every week.
Matt Prater, Buffalo Bills
After converting all of his attempts in his first two games of the season, Buffalo Bills kicker Matt Prater came back to earth somewhat in a Week 3 win over the Miami Dolphins.
Prater badly missed a 39-yard field goal to the left, but he hit a game-sealing 48-yarder late in the fourth quarter and nailed all four extra-point tries. Having already cashed in on seven field goals and nine PATs, the 41-year-old ranks fifth among kickers in fantasy points this season.
He'll enter a juicy matchup in Week 4 versus the New Orleans, who have thus far given up the third-most fantasy points to kickers. On the other hand, the Bills are averaging a robust 34 points per game.
Their top-tier offense has given Prater plenty of opportunities this year, and that's unlikely to change on Sunday against perhaps the worst team the Bills will face this year.
Daniel Carlson, Las Vegas Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson is coming off a quiet Week 3 with just one field goal attempt, but the upcoming matchup against the Chicago Bears projects to provide much more scoring opportunity. The Raiders offense has been moving the ball effectively, ranking inside the top 10 in passing yards, and a high-paced game environment should set Carlson up for multiple attempts.
After producing starter-worthy numbers in the first two weeks, Carlson remains firmly in play as a low-end K1 and is a strong streaming choice for fantasy managers seeking stability at the kicker position in Week 4.
Harrison Butker, Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker will face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4. Butker was busy in last week's matchup against the New York Giants. The Chiefs' kicker knocked in his only extra-point attempt and three of four field goal attempts, with his longest make coming from 54 yards away. Butker could be busy again this week as the Chiefs face the highest scoring offense in the league.
The Ravens are averaging 37 points per game through three weeks, nearly three points higher than the Detroit Lions and Indianapolis Colts, who are tied for second. The Chiefs are also home underdogs this week, meaning that they could be chasing points in this game. Butker is ranked K10 in our RotoBaller rankings, making him worthy of a start in most leagues.
Jake Bates, Detroit Lions
Detroit Lions kicker Jake Bates has made just four out of six field goal tries so far this season, but one of his misses was from 67 yards out. Perhaps most importantly for his fantasy outlook, Bates is currently leading the NFL in extra-point attempts and makes (13) for the second-straight season. Detroit faces a difficult matchup in the Cleveland Browns in Week 4, who have been one of the NFL's best defenses so far in 2025.
That could lead to more field goal opportunities for Bates if the Lions have some success moving the ball, but the Browns can hold them out of the end zone. Bates also gets the advantage this week of playing an indoor home game at Ford Field. Heading into Week 4, Bates profiles as a high-end starting fantasy kicker.
Ka'imi Fairbairn, Houston Texans
Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn hasn't been part of the problem in his team's 0-3 start, and he remains a solid starting kicker play in Week 4 in a favorable matchup against the Titans.
Fairbairn has made six of his seven field goal attempts and both of his extra point attempts this season. He has three field goals from 50+ yards, but his offense hasn't given him opportunities to score many points.
A struggling offense sometimes can help a kicker since it stalls out and creates more field goal attempts. The Titans have been a top-10 matchup for kickers this season, and kicking at home in Houston should set up well for Fairbairn in Week 4. He is the K7 in RotoBaller's Week 4 rankings, and he is a solid starter in most formats in this favorable spot.
Brandon McManus, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers kicker Brandon McManus looks to shake off the blocked kick with under a minute left in Week 3 and bounce back as the Packers head to Dallas to play the Cowboys in Week 4.
McManus didn't get too many opportunities in Week 3 with the Packers only scoring one touchdown, but he did make a 39-yard field goal, and his 43-yard attempt was blocked, which would have given the Packers a 13-10 lead.
Instead, the Browns moved into field goal range themselves and booted home a game-winning field goal. The Packers are an excellent offense, but that doesn't always translate into giving the kicker a lot of runway for fantasy scoring each week.
In a matchup like this against the Cowboys in Week 4, McManus enters the streaming kicker conversation as somebody who could get some volume in a controlled, indoor environment like AT&T Stadium.
